- An estate must be open to file a claim.
- By statute, an individual can file a claim up to 4 months after the publication date on an individual dying on or after 1-1-98. If the individual died before 1-1-98, a person has 6 months from publication date to file a claim.
- Forms can be found on the FORMS page on this site or can be obtained from the clerks office.
- A claim must be filed in triplicate, must be notarized, and have a copy of the bill attached.
- The fee for filing a claim is $11.00.
